Ocean Spray X Moments

Task: In June 2020 Ocean Spray launched a new :30 second broadcast spot called Ocean Spray X Nature. The spot was inspired by nature and introduced a collaboration mentality. The goal was to art direct and design lifestyle digital assets that would expand the collaboration and highlight the inspiration of nature.

In the past Ocean Spray leaned heavily only showing food and beverages on their social media but, to disrupt the feed an entirely new look had to be created. I wanted the images to be beautiful and full of life. I ultimately ended up layering images on top of each other while interacting with typography to create an interesting with textured photography and lifestyle imagery.

While I was tasked to create content that would disrupt their social media, I also needed to keep in mind that these images needed to be evergreen and were compelling enough to live on their own. I worked closely with a food stylist, prop stylist, and photographer to create timeless imagery. I knew right from the beginning that these images needed to have natural light, a warm color palette, and as much greenery as possible.
